It really just depends on the teacher. Almost every school use different material for the same subject, esp. English classes. Some teachers have the habit of recycling old tests, while some teachers like to try something new each time. However, as far as I know, William Shakespeare's play will definitely be studied (yet which book varies by teacher, usually one of his tragedies). Basically, the Board of Education sets the rule such as "teach critical thinking skill" and each teacher choose whatever book/material that they think will reach this goal.
