Test Technician / Designer Student - 3 month cont

Trojan designs, manufactures and sells UV systems for Municipal wastewater, and drinking water facilities, as well as for the industrial, commercial and residential markets. Our head office is located in London, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
-Be an integral part of the design team for one of two products being developed to provide safe drinking water for Emergency Relief. (Contribute ideas, detail design, source materials)
-Follow test procedures, conduct testing, and accurately record data (Component and/or Validation Testing)
-Review test results w/ Designers and make suggestions based on Observation
-Construct testing apparatus and prototype equipment as directed by the designer.
-Complete Drawings as needed in AutoCad (Preferably SolidWorks).
Lab (microbiological) Testing possible (training will be provided).
-Complete reports.
-Work with suppliers to customize components.
-Other odd jobs as directed by the designers.
Background and Skill
-Motivated Self Starter that requires little supervision
-Hands on approach to solve problems - Mechanically inclined
-Strong Mechanical / Electrical design understanding
-Must be a team player
-Experience with AutoCad a must, knowledge of Solidworks an Asset
-Lab experience an asset
-Experience in "Aid of Disaster" an asset
