Skills Required:

Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative research skills. Practical experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint software is required. Some knowledge of either EViews, SAS, or another statistical software package is needed. Experience with Visual Basic or Microsoft Access would be an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism are required.



Other Qualifications:

Academic or prior work experience in industrial, econometric and/or trade analysis. We are looking for a recent B.A. or M.A. graduate in economics or someone currently enrolled in graduate studies.



Duties:

The successful candidate will be part of the Toronto-based consulting team assisting on various client projects. Duties include: collecting and manipulating economic, industrial, and trade data from a variety of sources; industry research; and the preparation of written reports or PowerPoint slide presentations.
