JOB DESCRIPTION:
Education Assistant - French Language Programme D

Assist in the research and development of French language components for core history-based educational programming; further develop existing partnerships within the French language community; foster new relationships and explore new partnership opportunities within the French language community; determine the programming needs and expectations of the French language community of London through meetings, discussion groups, etc.; research, prepare and disseminate French language programme related print materials, including staff and teacher’s resource manuals, surveys, etc.; develop and maintain statistical data and other records for French language educational programming; assist with the research, planning and co-ordination of a pilot French Language Education Day to be delivered in 2007; assist with administrative functions of programme development, including critical path and programme promotion; act as an effective team leader and team member to help design and implement French language educational programming within the historical context of Fanshawe Pioneer Village; prepare agendas and minutes for programming meetings with community partners; provide reports to managers, staff and volunteers; Protect the site's resources; support Fanshawe Pioneer Village customer service initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
