The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Call Centre Team Leader to assist in the ongoing continuous improvement and growth of our Sales unit at our Home Office in Windsor, Ontario!
Position Objectives
To coach and manage the Licensed Sales Representatives to achieve all established sales objectives while ensuring quality standards and metrics are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and motivate the team by providing feedback to direct reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis establishing clear performance targets and implementing specific action plans.
Implement and monitor the execution on new underwriting policies and procedures in accordance to the guidelines set by the insurance company.
Monitor standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity levels are maintained.
Implement and monitor the execution of new sales initiatives/campaigns in accordance to the guidelines/restrictions set by the marketing department.
Maintain strong business relationships with insurance companies, including the underwriting division and service team leaders.
Identify training requirements and implement initiatives necessary to achieve sales objectives and quality through coaching and training.
Facilitate the professional development of all direct reports by conducting formal, annual performance appraisals, as well as monthly coaching sessions..
Review and analyze call centre reports.
Take appropriate action to achieve departmental goals and comment on trends and recommend solutions to Management Team.
Assist in the Training of New Staff (maintain an up to date training manual)
The ideal candidate will have…
Excellent oral and written communication skills
3 + years of Sales experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role (Call Centre)
3 + years of experience in the insurance industry or RIBO licensed (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent self management skills
The ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively under the stress of tight timelines
A focus on meeting and exceeding the expectations of clients, stakeholders and team members
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
A sound knowledge of MS Office and Excel
A post secondary degree or diploma
