MA.Sc. have two options, thesis option or Major option.
Only if you do the thesis, you can apply for PhD. and also you will receive funding for RA (Research Assistant)
MA,Sc thesis option, you have to take 4 courses and do a thesis, you can do four GAs
MA.Sc major paper option, you have to take 6 courses and do a project, you can do four GAs as well
M. Eng. you have to take 8 courses, you will not receive any funding from school.
It is possible to transfer from M.Eng. to MA. Sc., that will require you have a high GPA, (12+) and have a professor wants you to be his/her student
