Software Engineering Manager This position is in Utsunomiya, Japan
• MUST BE JAPANESE SPEAKING
• This is a direct position
• The candidate would be someone that would be moving back to Japan for at least 3-5 years.
• Experience between 5 -8 years
• Salary is $90 – 110K
Job Description
1. Managing Engine Control Software development supervising about 10 staffs as below.
2. Communicate with automotive customers in specifications, schedule and quality.
3. Provide or load customer support on spec definition, system debug, validation, and so on. Lead the team on development process and system design improvement.
4. Collaboration with US technology group in order to develop P&Ch business locally and globally.
Necessary Requirements
1. 8+ years experience of automotive ECU software development. Engine ECU experience preferred.
2. 5+ years experience of managing a software development team. Software management Tool experience preferred.
3. C or C++ coding and development experience is a MUST. Real time operating system and device driver development experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements
1. BS or MS degree for Electronics or Computer Science.
2. 3+ years experience with US customers or US business partners in English is preferred.
3. Strong sense of achievement, Frank and likeable personality. Result oriented with right process in mind. Team player.
