Historical Actor/Interpreter
Interpret various aspects of 19th century rural south-western Ontario history through performing and explaining period related activities; perform in up to 4 daily 20 – 30 minute historical dramatizations (scripted and improvisational) and/or performances before the public; dressing and acting in character while maintaining a visible presence in the Village; provide visitors with guided site tours; interact extensively with the visiting public, responding to questions, engaging in dialogues and directing tourists in a historically appropriate manner; provide excellent customer service; protect the site's resources; building and site cleaning and maintenance, including gardening and animal care; work with other staff and volunteers in the delivery of historical programming; assist in the delivery of educational programming as required; ensure the safety of visitors, volunteers and staff; other duties as assigned.

There is no public transportation to Fanshawe Pioneer Village. Please arrange for your own transportation.
