It is true that the gas is cheaper in US.

The closest on will the one under the Ambassador bridge in US side.

Just pass the border and go down under the bridge.

Due to duty free, this one is even cheaper than other gas station in US.
Make sure you could find it before you accross the bridge, use the second entrance to bridge.

Cross and U-Turn back!

If you come back to Canada from Tunnel and after you pay the toll fee at the US side to get in, turn your head up and right and you will see a sign showing the gas price in canadian dollars. Turn your car right if you want to refill the gas.

专门去加的话就没必要了，来回过桥费就6.5美金/8加币。

its true, i spent 15 USD for more than three quarter tank of gas, when i pay 20- 25 here, but who is stupid enought to pay 8 dollars just to go there and get gas...??? i would think the person is retarded.

I dont know whether you are wrong about this direction. I never see a car pass the toll free and make a U-turn on the right and get back to the gas station.  You may make a wrong turn And it's very dangerous.

The way i go to the duty free station is to exit I-96-East on the exit for Canada bridge. I dont know the exit number. Then you can turn left and get on the bridge when you see a cross with a sign (maybe). If you want to go to the duty free station, dont turn left and continue to drive straight ahead. Then you see a stop sign, and turn left on this entrance. That's what they said--2nd entrance. You need to pay the toll before you enter the gas staion. That means you can only get on the bridge and pass the boarder and go to canada. I think that's what "duty free" mean. hehe.

There should be another exit on the I-96-west direction. But i never try that.  Also you can get there from local road. But i don't know how.
