i went to the dealer in London 2 weeks ago to get my idling control system fixed, and they said my transmission need to be rebuild as well due to there were few bearings might worn out.
so im gonna either swap a sti 6 speed or rebuild the trans with aftermarket clutch kit and flywheel.
the sti 6speed plus the R180 rear diff, tranny mount, and rear axles gonna cost me around 4Gs, excluding taxes, shipping, etc...and for the money sake, I will learn to do it myself...
If i go for rebuild the trans, the dealer quoted me for 1500 bux for the parts and labour, but If bring the aftermarket clutch kit and flywheel myself, it might lower the price for parts a lil bit.
Dude, I could afford a STI swap if I save up the tuition fees for this year by sitting home n sucking my fingers...lol

o i've seen the this web before, and these jdm sti engines are made for earlier version of impreza, which are made before year 2000. so....maybe sell my GD impreza to get a GC impreza? lol
Im sure i can find someone to do the fully sti swap for 9000bux in Quebec city including labour and a ver7 spec c sti engine... that's my final goal!!!
