替16岁儿子申请入籍

我在2006年前取得加拿大国籍，拿了护照。
儿子16岁，是PR，可是因为加国生活困难，儿子过去5年在加国只住了两个月，现仍在国内。
我想替他申请入籍，但不知加拿大移民局会否留难，比方要儿子出示生活及学历证明之类？有甚么人可以给我意见呢？

I do not think you can help him 申请入籍. He need to stay in canada for 1095 days to apply it. Stay outside the country will the count. If you do not stay in Canada more than 1095 days, they are going to reject your applications. That is a requirement for applying citizenship.

I would recommend you to help him extend the PR status instead. Starting asking him to stay here if he want to become a citizen. He is young, it should be easy for him accept the changes.

I am not sure about that point. Hope I can find you some answer in the future.

Did you submit your son's Citizenship application when the time you did yours?
Children under 18 does not need to take the test, only parents.But need fill out application.
And your son and you are landed in Canada on the same date or not? If on the same day, you
should do the application for him. This way is easier for him to get Canadian Citizen. If not landed
on the same day, he needs to wait under 18; his is different to get Canadian Citizen because he
phscial living in Canada less than 1095 ( 3 years). Only can try to extend PR Card.
