各位好,我们一家即将登陆,我们选择了温莎,但纸上写的登陆地是温哥华,我不去温歌华行不行.还有我从上海出发,最好怎么走快点能到温莎. 谢谢热心朋友的解答.

Hi, there, Welcome to Windsor. there is a direct airline open recently from Shanghai to Toronto. After checking out, you can go to RobertQ Airbus Reception desk (at the Toronto airport arrival exit), asking the shuttle bus from Toronto to Windsor, around $60/person. Thank you very much. One question again, the first landing place is accroding to my own request, not care which city? Is it right? And we are hope short stay for about 10-20 days. Cna you tell me the price of the accomidation.

I just called and checked with immigration office, the answer is you can choose any city to land, except there is a restriction to your family that you can only live in one province in Canada, which i don't think so. In Canada, all the residents have right to move and live anywhere they wish to. Our rate for short stay is $35 per day.  If you need further information, feel free to give us a call. I believe he should go to 温哥华 first, because they choose to. We do not want him to be rejected by the government office on those SIN, Health card etc because Windsor is not their selected city. Once they have everything settle, they can move here with an excuse of jobs. Otherwise send a letter to the embassy and ask for a different destination. Since every province have different policy on new immigrant, it may take a while to complete your process.

They are not resident yet.

没关系,你可以选择任何城市LANDING的,我就是选择的多伦多,后来定居改在温哥华的!

我个人觉得没关系的，如果你是联邦政府批准的新移民，不是个别省，如魁北克。
另外要看你的航班。如果到温哥华转机，你必然在那里办理移民手续，你告诉他你还要继续转机到XX就可以，接下来他知道怎么办。如果直飞多伦多，你就会在多伦多的机场办理移民手续，官员会问你还去不去温哥华，回答不去，他就会在confirmation 表上更改你的目的地，比如温莎。没什么大不了的。总之官员根据你当时的情况更改必要的信息就可。爱上哪是哪

另外，温莎嘛，没什么特别原因就不必来这里登陆。

听7楼最后那句说的意思好像是不建议新移民到温莎去，是这样吗？为什么呢？我想听听。

俺就是当初办的温哥华　来的温莎　啥事都没有

楼上的朋友来温莎有亲友接应吗？还是自己只手闯天下呢？
