Responsibilities
Work with site coordinator to plan daily activities
Implement daily schedules and activities
Support children to participate in a variety of leisure activities
Provide personal care
Documentation as required
Work as a contributing member of a team
Report directly to the Site Coordinator
Qualifications
Experience working with children/youth with intellectual disabilities
First Aid and CPR certificates
Experience working in a day camp
Knowledge and understanding of Autism and Epilepsy an asset
Knowledge of mechanical lifts an asset
Knowledge of sign language an asset
This program runs for approximately 7 weeks beginning in July. Staff must be available in May/June for training.
Salary:$12.00 / hr+4 vacation pay
Language Skills Required: Intermediate English
